Brehs, as stated yesterday on how I was feeling kind of weak and lethargic balling yesterday, do I need to consume some protein before going or what can I do to not feel like that?
green tea with honey, or a couple of sips of coffee with honey or black strap molasses.
i don't know if they still do but elite marathoners used to use some caffeine products. be aware though that it dehydrates the body!
and yes, a good protein will power your workout.
