Slow overhead press is brutal. Really brings the abs and traps in. the middle back takes a pounding too. Bumped the weight down to 160 from 190 and focused on feeling each part of the movement.

I always feel overhead press in my back

:ehh: I dint feel embarrassed, I just felt awkward because my form isn't right but this is only my 3rd time going to gym.I know I gotta put in work to get. Better and that's what wiling to do. Good thing, Im 5 pounds less than what I thought I was

Started taking this preworkout called ESP. :whew: Don't know if it's in my head but I feel super focused and am pushing extra reps easily.


It's a trip too cause it only hits me when I lift, if I run or go to jiu-jitsu I don't feel anything.

fish and asparagus week at my gym...this shyt is atrocious. eating some damn fish and asparagus at 8am is :mjcry: then a can of tuna and raw broccoli for my snack :(....lol @ kale being a welcome change of pace. ahhhhh i hate this week already.

Had to make the dreaded shopping trip to buy a heating pad today. fukked my back up real good yesterday deadlifting. I chose not to listen to my body and tried to push through some soreness during my warmup and ended up straining it badly.

Can't even bend over far enough to lift up the toilet seat today. Gonna be a long few weeks of recovery. I'm gonna stay active though, last time I strained my back a few years ago it seemed to heal more quickly once I got back in the gym and did some cautious workouts
Come on fam u are smarter than that. Heal up tho

Im so cautious now.... on a 2 week lower body break.... just cause my back was feeling less than 100%. Why risk it :yeshrug:
