I consider lifting weights a hobby. It's something I enjoy doing, and it's generally fun for me. It just so happens to have a physical benefit. But if you tell somebody that you like to lift weights for fun, they'll look at you likeor
, like you just told them you like to fondle puppies or some shyt.
Why is that? Nobody ever does that with any other physical activity.
"So what do you like to do for fun?"
"I like to run/swim/hike/cycle/skateboard/rock climb/do crossfit."
"Oh, that's pretty cool."
"So what do you like to do for fun?"
"I like to hit the gym and lift weighs"
"Oh, you one of them nikkas? You must be overcompensating for something. Probably got a little dikk.Bet you don't want any cake at the office party. Not enough protein for you.
"
It's one of the reasons I never talk about the gym to anyone unless I saw them at the gym.
Yeah it's the only hobby that has that effect on peopleit triggers so much insecurity
Y'all must be huge as fukk (no homo) to be getting that kind of reaction/hate

Gym is crazy crowed now, I hate all these New Year specials, motherfukkers should give me a quaterly discount for dealing with all this.
