other than making sure i keep myself accountable, bushing my trainer for a bit has been a good look. loving just being in my own world during my workouts. totally forgot how much better it is to be in control, have your music, not need to engage others, etc
That’s the way to do it imo

I feel like a trainer is good when you are starting but eventually just want to do your own thing and own routines

just hating on her 155...but i guess it depends on how many reps, i usually go for 12-15 @ 120-125
I wasn't really counting because I was battling through a 4x12 of Front Squats but she wasn't doing that many. 155 was her top set. Probably not much difference on the surface between you and her.

Sad to say, but after over ten years, next Monday I'm moving to another gym. Just not logical to stay at the one I'm at but I'll surely miss it. :mjcry:

Gonna have to adapt to different equipment, which may be older, and just new faces and everything. It'll be an adjustment the first week for sure. Hopefully they atleast up to par with the one i go to now. :francis:

Current one is a 3.4 on Google and new one is 3.6. Both with about 250 reviews. Just gotta enjoy my current gym for this week and then see what happens at the new one. :manny:

Man I want to go back to my old hardcore gym so bad. I had to stop going there in August, 2013 because my then job was too far from it. The other gyms ive been in after were cool but they werent hardcore :sadcam:

Same situation here. We moving to a new location, was supposed to be Monday but that just got delayed another week, so it makes no sense. I'm already going out of my way now since my job is north of me and the gym is a bit to the southeast but it's the nearest location. Now I'll be going north but more east and there's no point in going to the same gym when they have a branch right down the street. So instead of driving like 25 minutes to the gym from work, I can get there in 5 and save some gas.

Once a week is plenty, lower reps are better IMO

Yea I did 4x6 yesterday. With deadlifts I usually start to feel the whole body shutdown like mid-day next day. Was so unproductive today at work. I might start moving them to Thursday so that the work hangover falls on Friday, an “easy” day.

Regardless, I still got to the gym. Kept it light; some cardio, chest and abs. Good 1 hr workout. Hopefully my league game actually holds tomorrow.

Kinda pissed I went to the gym though. When I got to the locker room I saw this one dude sitting on the bench butt naked scratching his balls vigourously. Dude had various boils and warts over his body. :hhh:

Seemed like he had down syndrome but still. Stuff was repulsive.
