That's why I don't fukk with deadlifts. I've seen dudes fukk they shyt up and never recover.


Yea I’m throwing them in bushes forever now. This the second time. The first time was like 4 years ago. shyt ain’t even worth it.

All it takes is one lapse in focus and you fukked. You can’t say that about any other workout. Deadlifts got the smallest room for error.

Well that’s possible the problem. High rep deadlifts are no bueno. It’s a great lift but it’s complicated and most people just do them without studying the movement. It’s actually safer than bench and squats arguably.

I try to never make fun of people in the gym but the other day I saw this dude in there that made me :snoop:

This fool was in there wearing one of those elevation mask with a weight vest on. The thing that made me :smh: though is he was on some machine for standing leg.curls. :what: didn't make any sense

Watch someone come in here and tell me that's the new way of training


Do you even lift? That's how it's supposed to be done

I was doing 4X10 if 315...

When I do 5 reps or 3 when heavy I make sure to reset everytime but that day I foolishly started repping them out without resetting:sadcam:

Maybe when done correctly it’s safer but you can do an lazy unfocused rep of bench and squats and u be good.


But fukk around and do a lazy unfocused deadlift and that’s your ass mr postman.

Personally I would never suggest anything over 5 reps. It doesn’t make sense IMO.

Depends on how you look at it. Weight on your back, weight above your neck and chest or weight at your feet that you can drop with no repercussion at any time. In an odd way people disrespect the lift because it’s safer. Nobody would load a weight out of there range on Squats and almost force themselves through ego reps. They do it on Deads all the time. I don’t mean you but people in general.

That said, conventional Deads are my favorite movement so I am biased.

there are a lot of people walking around w/ fuked up shoulders/pecs from the bench and weighted dips.

All these exercises can fuk you up.

w/ the DL the key is to keep that bar as close as possible to your legs (if not touching them).

Lost our final yesterday 3-0.

Lost to the same team that beat us in the regular season.

Same issue as well, not taking our chances. Our usually reliable finisher had arguably the worst game I’ve seen him play in forever. Missed like 3 gilt egded chances.

Hit 405 on Deadlifts this morning, so Im back in the 400 club.

Right now my Big 3 is:

DL : 385 (405)
BP: 245
SQ: 225 (245)



Around this time last year my big 3 was around this:

DL :485
BP :295
SQ :385

Plus a 185 Front SQ and a 225+ OHP

Cutting real heavy right now, so my strength gains will prolly be limited, but Imma see what I can do.

man the first time i had curry chicken i got wasted later that night and woke up panicked as fukk because my hands were still yellow :mjlol:

i woke my buddy and his girl up freaking out thinking i was sick

Man you ain't lying. It's good for you but it will stain the hell out of your pans if you cook with it (especially don't do it at high heat). Better buying a cheaper pot to use.
