Just came from a bike ride, I haven’t been in a couple of weeks as one week it rained the entire weekday and then was lazy. I only managed to get in four miles but I’m getting back up there. I want to do a sprint tri just to complete it, not for time so I have to be more proactive.

Went and did just a little swimming (and relaxing) on my off day. Talk about being :flabbynsick: Would be dope though if I had the space to get my cardio up to do laps:noah:

Gotta get my diet back skraight:flabbynsick: maybe after this week though:flabbynsick: Debating about if I really want to do IF or not. :lupe:

Five lifting days sounds good but I'm wondering how I'm going to hold up calorie wise once I'm past the deload phase.

@phcitywarrior biking in NYC is prob the biggest thing I miss about living in NYC :mjcry:

I'd get a good 10-20 miles in on my commute.... then on the weekends do another 20-30 at Prospect/Central Park

Back in my skinny days I was a climbing beast. When I really got the miles up I would shred down by accident

Damn you got me sentimental now :to:

I’m so ready to get these miles in this weekend. I’m tryna bike from my sister’s spot in Brooklyn all the way to Harlem where I’ll be staying. After that, bike all through Manhattan.

That ride down Riverside from Hudson Heights to Wall Street bout to be :wow:

I might just say F it and bike to JFK just for the hell of it

If you wanna get miles in, get away from the traffic and go north. There are a lot of bike groups in NYC that do miles that way. It's beautiful up there too. You can prob find them on Meetup or Reddit

Manhattan is a biker's playground though. Damn I miss it

Most definitely. I discovered it just by accident last time I was there. Was in SoHo at this ramen spot for lunch. Got out and I was like "what can I do in NYC for a few hours to kill time". Saw some dudes on that Citi bikeshare so I decided to try it out. I was hooked in like 10 mins. Biked for damn near the entire afternoon all through out the city.

This time I'll probably rent a proper road bike for the few days I'm there. Idk if I want to bring up my own bike since I'll be staying with my boy and he may not have the space for it.
