What does pre workout do for those using it?

Generally speaking, better focus, endurance and recovery during the session between exercises/sets. For me personally, it's just a bit extra to help get into the zone and push my sets, considering I'm now doing a calorie deficit and can't depend on carbs for energy as much as before.

It's not a magic elixir or anything, and won't really help if all other aspects of your fitness routine is bunk (sleep, diet, programming).

Allows me to wake up before the ass-crack of dawn with 3 hours or less sleep and still beast in the gym. :lolbron:

Gets my engine going for earlier morning training

Actually for life in general because ain’t nothing productive happening before large amounts of caffeine hit my system.

The good ones can have you moving at crackhead speed...

Everyone had different tolerances for caffeine...

If you got anxiety or depression, be careful

Some can kill your libido..
I've never tried it but I was curious about what it does for folks.

Definitely not something you “need”

Personally in the short time I’ve trained it’s only been early AM so it helped.

Now it’s a vessel to get caffeine, my creatine and to hydrate in the morning.

Overall I would save the $ unless you find a really compelling reason to try them.

Bolded may be false. A shytty Pre is not magic. That Burn stuff @Regine Hunter was on or C4 is just a regular pick-me up. If you're a coffee fiend you'll prolly be like:russell:.

An OG Pre (like original Jack3d) literally had nikkas in the gym dying (it contained DMMA). :cape:
