Net net, on this current trajectory, I should be about 30lbs down this year. Next year I’ll still have a bit more to cut but the main thing is my progress has been sustained this past 2-3 months.

It’s a lifestyle change but that really started clicking for me since the middle of summer. No more false starts. Cutting the tree has definitely been one of the best ways to keep consistent.
One thing that can help is if you're at a plateau, maybe increase your protein intake.

People recommend 30 grams of protein each meal. But depending on the person that could be on the low end.

30 grams is fine if you eat 5-6 meals a day and you're satisfied.

But if you're only eating 2-3 meals a day (which is fine) you might need 40 or 50 grams (or more) to hit your targets and feel satiated.

I find that people tend to stick to 30 grams per meal because of some influencer, and find out they go really heavy on the carbs. Not that carbs are bad. We need them for energy and brain function. I just find that it can be easy to get off track with that kind of approach.

I definitely need to track this a bit better. Right now I’m more focused on calorie counting and just generally increasing my activity levels ie walk to the bus stop instead of taking the company shuttle, playing soccer and lifting at least 3x a week.

I do want to get into a place where I’m doing two protein shakes a day. One for breakfast then another right after the gym.

Main thing is just getting the consistency in my day to day. By end of year the work I put in will be very visible and a proper vote of confidence in my current set-up.

You know your body and you have your own plan.

I just wanted to share an idea.

Went from a good resources to a complete wasteland
youd think they made good money with a forum that big but apparently not

i thought misc was only like that? i remember that was the first time i learned about aussies foreal outside of crocodile dundee :lolbron:

I lose track but they changed sales strategy and start losing market share. I was over there in the nutrition forum heavy and just got progressively worse.

Misc was a different demon to itself.

Any place where a bunch of men concentrate without women winds up deteriorating into a shyt show.

On the mild end it leads to bullshyt like meatheads and gym bros. On the harsher end....Saudi Arabia.

Just one of those days where the workouts aren’t hitting because of my mental state. Wasn’t able to squat or DL what I usually do.

Will just go on a long run tomorrow before my trip.

Will be a lot of cardio for the next 10 days unless my hotel got a decent gym set-up

Ended up getting a great full body workout the next day right before I hit the airport
