Sprained my groin from soccer last night :francis:

Got to the gym and leg day was like nope…gonna ice and massage the area and see if I can do a light leg day after work instead…

9:25 pm PST. Just wrapped up a light but good leg day. No squats or SLDL, swapped them out for Goblet squats and lunges. 3 for 3 this week.

Ice and my massage gun were very helpful for the groin sprain. I think by my next leg day I should be back to squatting my regular weights.

I forgot just how taxing 11v11 soccer can be on your lower body, especially if you’re not properly warmed up. Those quick sprints and changes of direction is likely what caused my sprain.

We move still. Something better than nothing and consistency is the name of the game.

8am PST, a decent upper day completed. 6.5/10.

Was still a little tired from my evening leg day yesterday so my lifts weren’t the best. Also woke up an hour later as a result, but I still got in my session before work.

We continue to move.

:francis:I need to take a break with (heavy) deadlifts. Did something wrong with heavy burpees/dumbbell snatch workout about a month back, feel it in my lower back. Pain went away but during/every heavy deadlift set it comes back.

I do a deload week every 4-6 weeks to give my CNS some time to recover. Heavy deads take so much out of you.

6:59 am PST, lower day done. Closer to 7/10 for this workout.

Squats are back although at 95% of my regular weight. SLDL not quite there yet, got this funny feeling in my lower left back. Still need to get more intensity to my workouts, my body is adapting.

Anyway, slowly getting back to my ideal routine. We move.

5 for 5 this week with a beautiful soccer game tomorrow :banderas:

Decent ish soccer game this morning. Got in a good 60 mins but this groin issue is a bit more pronounced than I thought.

Could barely run today. Had to play CDM and do more shuffling the field than actual running. Some of that groin pain even ran up my lower back.

Really hoping this isn’t gonna be chronic

6:45 am. Wrapped up an OK leg day.

Started off well but I got a text towards the last third of my workout that quite frankly got me very annoyed. Was damn near impossible for me to keep focused afterwards so I just called it.

Don’t think I’ve had something like that happen to me.

At least I got in my squats, RDL, calf raises and some core work.

Not everyday gonna be a 10/10. We move and continue tomorrow.

They on Reddit saying you can get 100 ml of retatrutide for 40 from China but you gotta risk getting finessed with fillers. :gucci: Or you can buy it from the influencer sites that charge 400x mark up :martin: I might just use terz & cjc/ipi and call it a day.

No soccer for the next 3-4 weeks minimum :mjcry:

This groin injury won’t let me be great. Tried for 9v9 soccer today after work today and the first pass I tried took me out.

I can still lift but any kind of running is out of it :francis: :snoop:

7:35am PST. No leg day today, wanted to rest my groin after my soccer fiasco yesterday.

Decided to do 35 mins of jump rope instead. Honestly I forgot how fun jump rope is. Once you get in the groove time just flies by and the cardio is great, too.

Upper body tomorrow, then will do leg day on Friday. My current plan is 2x upper and 2x lower regardless but I prefer to do the gym M-Thu then use Friday as a “free” exercise day so to speak. Just moved that free day up to today.

No running or soccer for at least a month. I just have to let this groin heal and not try to play through the pain. Got a physio appt on Saturday so let’s see what they say.

We move.

Y’all I finally did it, my body ready to go

My back where I got my epidural two years ago is KILLING me

Celebrated my son’s second bday all weekend, we ran at the park I got on a little ride with him and more

He had fun and mommy is paying dearly for it

I understand now why the old folks say if the lord wanna let them see another day/year :bryan::flabbynsick::damn:
