7:29am PST, 3/10 leg day done.

Just one of those days. Barely squat my usual weight. This groin is really holding me back. I’ll have to make some major tweaks to my routine.

I’ve pushed through the pain in the past but not sure that’s wise moving forward

Something is better than nothing and we move. Finishing Q4 strong is a must

Interesting day today. My boy hit me up to join him for this social run club after work.

I’ve run with the group a couple times and it’s really more a social event than anything. The run is a quick 3.2 miles around the lake then people either link up for HH or mingle around.

Some real nice looking women be out as well.

I have the groin issue so I told ole boy I’m 50/50 on it. If I go, let’s just stick with the walkers in the back and scout/chat up some women.

I get there and my mans forgets all about the mission and actually starts running seriously. I’m like F it and start running, too.

Lo and behold I’m actually doing well without any groin pain. Seems like I can do straight line running just fine but it’s the lateral movements and quick changes in direction that really trouble me. Even ran my fasted 3mil in over a year. Good to know…

But idk how I’m getting to my AM workout tomorrow…I have a 6AM call and it’s already 11:33PM. Can’t work from home cause I gotta meet ole girl in the city after work

Ended up not making it to the gym the morning after. It was raining cats and dogs so no biking to the gym for me. Just took it as an impromptu rest day. Friday I went for a 4 mile run then Saturday I hit upper body (first time in a long time I worked out on Saturday) before heading to a cookout.

It was Naija independence weekend this past weekend so I was out late, not even drinking, just out. First the cookout then a kickback.

Slept at 4am on Sunday, only to wake up by 8:45am that same day. Threw my entire day off but I still managed to get in about 20 miles of cycling (those SF hills are nasty I tell you). Got home by 6pm slept absolutely knackered and crash until 8am. No Monday AM workout as result

It's 8:36pm now and I'll do a 45 min jump rope workout before I head to bed. The positive out of these past couple days is I've hit a new low on my cut so there's that. Diet getting back to where it used to be and I'm off the hard liq until December.

Progress is still progress. We move.

I don't know when I'll be back on the soccer pitch....groin is still not all the way there even with me giving it rest. I'm really hoping I can get back on the pitch by Thanksgiving but we'll see

4 mile run completed…really dislike how this Sunday messed up my week but I’m still gonna get in a workout. Hopefully I don’t knock out too hard and can get in an AM workout tomorrow.

We move.

This my knee is really funny man…squatting might be out of hit for me for a while. Like I can go for a run with knee sleeves but squatting feels off. My patella is taking on too much stress.

These lower body injuries are just pissing me off :mjcry: :francis:
Sign of muscle imbalances now showing up after years of dependency.......

What kind of shoes y'all wear in the gym? ... Im getting awfully fed up seeing all these IG types rocking dunks and J's for their workouts...... really be grinding my gears....
