It’s been so long I don’t remember specifics. I basically stopped doing movements that would aggravate it which for me are/were standard pull-ups. I still feel weakness when I do those, even assisted. Other than that no issues since getting the shots and removing that movement.
You know what’s crazy I think pull ups probably caused this …. I’ve been going hard since may and I think ever since I started pull ups I think this pain started…. I’m also a gym novice

This shyt got me tight
That sucks. Pullups are probably my favorite back exercise. How often are/were you doing them and how many reps.

I bit the bullet and decided to invest in three crossrope jumprope sets of different weights for my 5'7 ass. I realize that my jumpropes are of different lengths and exercising today, realized that I may need to get better jumpropes to really kill it. Im getting more involved in my cardio the older that I am getting. Im getting ready to take the next step and take swimming classes though that shyt is expensive as fukk. :picard: but to learn it and get a membership at a gym to start regularly swimming. Thats my goal heading into 2026 learning how to swim. Plus I'm hitting the calisthenics park for a year now 2 weeks straight and switching up going to the gym the next week. Im pushing myself to do and learn more exercises. Eventually, I want to possibly be someone's paid fitness trainer. Im just learning on how to be that through myself. Exercising is fun. Wish I did sports when I was younger but I was more of an artistry nerd who wasnt even physical fit, i was extremely frail/skinny or into sports.

That sucks. Pullups are probably my favorite back exercise. How often are/were you doing them and how many reps.
I can still do then neutral grip no problem.

Memory is fuzzy but that was roughly a period where I was doing a lot of heavy lifting including PT sessions that were more metcon. Anything you can think that would stress the elbow I was doing in volume. It was not intelligent programming.

Also I was much likely older than you at the time so some of it was age related.

I was just curious since I still do pullups but I max at 10-12 reps and then increase my weight. I'm sure I can do more but I have no desire to.

I don’t think that would do it alone. It was probably a combo of:

Heavy Deads
Body Weight Pulling
Barbell Complex’s

And again the ortho was like yeah you getting :flabbynsick::ufdup:

Good lower day. Nothing to heavy or crazy, main thing for was getting back to the AM morning workout routine.

That two week rest was needed but man do the weights feel just that bit heavier. My endurance feels shot but I know by end of next week I should be back.

Anyway, we move. Feeling good about rounding out this year and pushing in 2026 even stronger.

Got my two crossropes sets today. Waiting for the other two to come in. Never have I been excited to try some exercise equipment. I REALLY want to start using them. Think Im going to get some cardio in on Saturday morning. I really want to try these ropes and the handles. Ive been flirting around with different weighted jumpropes for over a year now eventually moving up to the 2lb muay Thai weighted jumprope. I really enjoy jumprope so I decided to try the crossrope. Gonna download the app. Going to get this jumprope shyt pat the fukk down.

I wanna do double unders and tricks eventually.
