I rately do ab shyt since i figured at low enough bf they would just be there in combination of other lifts
i mean, theoretically, yeah, if you burned off enough body fat they should be there, but might as well try planks, they'll strengthen your abs, back and core, they're fukking killer and really really easy to do. Abs are like any other muscle right? Strengthening and using them should help define them?

I took a break last week from lifting and it DEFINITELY helped me out this week

I've been on the reverse pyramid training kick these last couple of months ... here's the program:

http://www.fitocracy.com/knowledge/starting-guide-reverse-pyramid-training/

So on Sunday and Tuesday I still didn't hit my goals but at the very least I stopped getting those pressure headaches. (I also got closer to my goals than I had the previous week.) But today I went for the squats. My aim was 245x6, 220x8 and 200x10. My God, my legs were quivering on the last set, but I did it and I didn't have the headaches :wow: I couldn't jump for joy because I was wobbling, but best believe I was doing cartwheels in my mind :blessed:

I know we complain of it a lot here but damn do I hate when people go nose blind to smelling like moldy onions at the gym. This young dreaded up African cat came up to me to ask a few things about the pause squats I was doing since he was in the next rack. He was real respectful in his approach, he was a total NBC ( nothing but chest ) lifter. .. I think he took my advice to heart and will implement it but damn man dude was RIPE. Like that kinda :scusthov: that hits all 5 of your senses like it was 5 hours ago and I can still easily describe the scent. I felt bad because I know dude didn't realize I was visibly reacting to how musty he was while we were talking

:dwillhuh: so I've been essentially power lifting heavy for over 4 years and have never had any injuries or sprains :wow:

Strength >>>>>>>> aesthetics

If your nutrition on point surely power lifting would get you looking pretty aesthetic? I've been doing a lot more strength based training (been a high volume 'bodybuilder' type trainer for most of my lifting life) and I've noticed I look a lot better in some areas, just lost my abs a little bit as I'm not doing much cardio wise (never been a cardio guy as sessions are usualy high intense with high volume, supersets etc).
