Honestly in regards to power lifting with proper nutrition, aesthetics are like confidence and women, they come with the territory when you're on top of your game doing everything right. But I'm not a body builder, so I hate when people try to judge my physique as so, all I care about is staying active and being moderately strong, without getting too big for my frame or lifting to the point where injury is inevitable due to the constant stress on joints and ligaments....If your nutrition on point surely power lifting would get you looking pretty aesthetic? I've been doing a lot more strength based training (been a high volume 'bodybuilder' type trainer for most of my lifting life) and I've noticed I look a lot better in some areas, just lost my abs a little bit as I'm not doing much cardio wise (never been a cardio guy as sessions are usualy high intense with high volume, supersets etc).

I try telling these cats, bu bu bu bu but....
been slimming down recently and just noticed today my favorite fitting pair of Levis feel and fit much more baggy. i'm not trying to buy any new clothes until i've reached my goal weight but i aint tryna go out looking like i'm a high school freshman.
fellow weight loss gym brehs, what do you guys do about "transitional" clothes?
past two days I've ate wayyy more and even some shytty things (had a burger for the first time in like 6 months and drinks too) and I actually see a bit more definition already. wtf is this sorcery

Its a complicated process with a bunch of moving parts, but the main factor is likely lepetin which is a hormone that regulates fat burning. Extended periods of dieting lower lepetin. To increase lepetin, extended periods of carb-heavy eating do wonders, or just a general calorie increase helps too.
Think of it as an oil-change for your body. Get that bytch running again.
Dont get stupid on your diet though. Stay on a defecit, just a bit less of a defecit.
You acually CAN overreat above maintenance for a little while and be OK, but beyond a day or two and you are risking fat gain
