got tonsillitis in july & was pretty much in zombie mode for a week. got better & continued on with my life.

got pharyngitis last weekend, went to the doctor yesterday & apparently ive had mono since july :ohhh:

only took that week off in july. i have to stop now. salty af. bae gave it to me. i haven't been sick in over three years & i was in the best shape of my life. healthy diet & everything. I just had my best chest day ever on Monday too. :scust:

past two days I've ate wayyy more and even some shytty things (had a burger for the first time in like 6 months and drinks too :wow: ) and I actually see a bit more definition already. wtf is this sorcery :lupe:

The abs is becoming a flat board. I feeling better than ever after I change my diet. :obama: Push ups, a pull up bar, morning stretches, and bike riding have a brother looking young and fit

If your nutrition on point surely power lifting would get you looking pretty aesthetic? I've been doing a lot more strength based training (been a high volume 'bodybuilder' type trainer for most of my lifting life) and I've noticed I look a lot better in some areas, just lost my abs a little bit as I'm not doing much cardio wise (never been a cardio guy as sessions are usualy high intense with high volume, supersets etc).
Honestly in regards to power lifting with proper nutrition, aesthetics are like confidence and women, they come with the territory when you're on top of your game doing everything right. But I'm not a body builder, so I hate when people try to judge my physique as so, all I care about is staying active and being moderately strong, without getting too big for my frame or lifting to the point where injury is inevitable due to the constant stress on joints and ligaments....

Honestly you can still maintain abs while strength training, anyone who says otherwise is an idiot
If anything your abs may grow stronger from more core dominated exercises.

The reason I may have not had 300 abs is due my diet. And imo cardio works wonders while strength training and. Can actually shoot your numbers up....

been slimming down recently and just noticed today my favorite fitting pair of Levis feel and fit much more baggy. i'm not trying to buy any new clothes until i've reached my goal weight but i aint tryna go out looking like i'm a high school freshman.

fellow weight loss gym brehs, what do you guys do about "transitional" clothes?

Same thing happened to me when I lost my first forty pounds I just bought a couple of things tbh breh maybe two pairs of levis a couple of shirts but not too much since you're still going to be losing weight.

Its a complicated process with a bunch of moving parts, but the main factor is likely lepetin which is a hormone that regulates fat burning. Extended periods of dieting lower lepetin. To increase lepetin, extended periods of carb-heavy eating do wonders, or just a general calorie increase helps too.

Think of it as an oil-change for your body. Get that bytch running again.

Dont get stupid on your diet though:ufdup:. Stay on a defecit, just a bit less of a defecit.

You acually CAN overreat above maintenance for a little while and be OK, but beyond a day or two and you are risking fat gain

:patrice: that burger and fries was so damn good I almost said fukk it and bulk again.

it was fun while it lasted but I guess I can get away with eating like 2200 a day:mjcry: since according to a clorie calc if you workout like 6-7 times a week like I do my maintenance is 2500. so I guess I'll stick around 2200-2300 instead of the 1500-1800 fukking hell I was doing. I feel a lot better already. If it takes a few months to get this stubborn bf its w/e. I've went my whole life being skinny fat until I was like 20 so its nothing. I know when the cuts are pristine its going to be :ohlawd: since I already have a ridiculous v shape from doing daily pullups for years. I caught that shyt in the gym the other day since a nikka never really see his back lol and was like :whoo: thats me?
