yo so I think I'm done trying to actively cut (as far as eating way below maintenance) so question. once i get my bf to where I want it and I eat at maintanence will I get bigger from lifting. or do I have to bulk again to see really significant gains. I was 120 last summer. got to 135, down to 130 summer so yeah I gained a shyt ton of weight since last year. I'm just curious since once I do get to the point where I'm as lean as I want I don't feel like starting all over. would a sloooowwww bulk of like 200 calorie surplus suffice without losing definition?

EC Stack + BCAA's proves again its the GOAT pre-workout :blessed:

Started up another run of EC now that I'm a couple weeks into my cut. Drank beer last night and slept like shyt so I had no energy and was dehydrated. Popped an EC and some BCAA's, took a shyt, then hit the gym with laser eyes and warrior blood pumping through my veins:wow:

Did a full body strength workout, couldn't even bring myself to take real rest breaks, between sets I was out there doing hex deadlifts (280 lbs) instead of chilling:pachaha:. Hit all my 5 rep sets with ease, continuing to increase the weight despite 3 weeks cutting:whew:. Sweat pourin off the brow, felt fresh when I was done and hit up the steam room then Chipotle:ohlawd:

I think I am officially over the mental hurdle of being a small-framed dude and am willing to abandon bulk/cut cycles for good

I can't say for sure because feelings change, but I think I am ready to switch to a permanent maintenance level. I'm too old for this shyt and my hip adductor strain has really opened my eyes to my lack of invincibility and I can finally practice what I preach (cariovasuclar and bloodwork health and fitness above aesthetics and excessive strength gain).

I am as strong as I need to be. I'm not a competing athlete, I have no need to ever squat above 225 or deadlift above 315 or use risky form to push bigger and bigger weights or to use stupid volume and kill my shoulders and joints so I can get some puffy glycogen muscles.

Walking through the locker room today and seeing that steam room moisture glistening off my abs in the mirror :ohlawd:....I hate putting on 10 lbs during a bulk cycle and having my gut reduced to a morning 2 pack just so I can add a pound or two of actual real muscle tissue at best :ld:

My original goal was 170 lbs at 10% BF, but I think that I'm going to come up 10 lbs short. I'm sure I can still pack on muscle at a snails pace eating at maintenance, but if I don't then oh well. I'm good.

i'm 130 and can bench 225 you better get back on that bench nikka :ufdup:

If I truly cared in a 225 bench I would have hit it months ago. Hard to build a good bench press when you never flat bench :beli:

Weighted dips have been the 1 consistently performed push-strength exercise I have always kept up with. More total musculature being used and more functional movement, seems like a no-brainer for my goals. But I did start doing flat and decline bench when I started my cut 3 weeks ago, and I will probably keep it up. Should be at 225 soon without even trying. I just had 20 lbs to go:yeshrug:

when I was bulking and taking creatine I hit 265 at like 135 once, had the whole gym (at my college mind you) looking at me like :dwillhuh:

never was able to get that weight up again tho. since I lost weight stuck at 225:mjcry:

pecs look glorious still tho. I think I get it from pops cuz his was huge, too bad I didn't get genes for biceps:sadcam:. nice shoulders, pecs and a v shape but I gotta do arms like 3 times a week to see gains:leostare:

I think you will get bored with those numbers after a while. Unless u track progress by # of reps

U have to put things in perspective. 1 u should see that dude now. Thats like competition/photoshoot level, he looks like that maybe 3 months out of the year

More importantly though that breh had a 6 pack in like 6th grade. And he is one of them 5' 7"-5' 8" nikkas (aka the GOAT bodybuilding height, midget skrenfh) :aicmon:. He is like 15% body fat with a 6 pack right now.

I am not saying to accept mediocrity. But the sad reality is genetics dictate way more of aesthetics than we all want to admit. So Ive learned to look to others for inspiration and insight.... but I am doing me. Just trying to look MY best and be MY strongest.

U will be skraight, u gettin them cutting diet feels. We here for u breh :mjcry:

Some brehs are just blessed. He was like 210 lbs with ab definition. Face round as fukk, small waist and abs. Some brehs just win

My homie Ricky (RIP) had a full on 6 pack in the 6th grade... "it ish what it ish"
