I did 4.0 miles of running yesterday. Completed in 40 mins 23 secs. I started out slow in the first 0.1 mile, but kept a 10 minute mile for about 3.8 miles and ran the last 0.1 mile hard.
I'm still not putting in quality pace, around an 8 minute mile. I've got over 10 pounds to lose to get my pace up.

@semtex

How are you using those olympic rings?

They were attached to a pull-up bar today so I pulled straps until they were hugging the bar and did chins using them :leon:

Convinced I'll never be able to get a full compound routine in the morning. Gym is too full of people actually working out as opposed to afternoons where everyone are on machines, dumbbells never available, benches almost always all in use.

Thinking of doing a split routine, 45 minutes in the morning, 45 minutes in the evening :lupe:

Butt off the bench = more leg drive and shorter range of motion

More core activation than legs = you might have long legs and a short torso prompting good morningish form. Ive seen the weight you move though so this might not be an issue. But if you want to hit legs harder take core out of the equation (leg press, ham curls etc etc etc)
Thanks man.

Bit the bullet on the bench and I'm starting over 5x5 with butt on the bench and no arch.

I'm not sure on the long legs being the problem. I'm below average height. I think you are on to something with the me leaning forward. Either way I'm adding leg extension as a warm-up and trying to work leg press back in to every session.

You can arch with your butt on the bench. Personally I recommend that. Doing so helps you retract your scapula and protect your shoulders. I started benching that way in like July and all my shoulder issues went away and never came back. It's good insurance.

If you do leg press go isolateral. Like I said in my thread this cut has revealed a pretty big imbalance in my legs. Im hoping isolateral leg press will make the strength bleeding more equal as my left leg is weak AF now.

I'll give it a shot.

We don't have that machine but i usually do them single leg.

Worked out yesterday. I think the gym will be closed tonight due to the snow storm.
I jogged 4 miles and did biceps.
