Man I'm 5'7 175lbs 12.9% and I'm currently cutting down to 10% but deep down I want to bulk because I've actually never bulked up in my life. I need more muscle.

Gym brehs, should I cut down to 10% first then bulk or just bulk right now?

I didn't hit my goal for this summer so I'm just focused on summer 17 now.

I would say cut down first. Life is more enjoyable when you are lean and if you are careful about holding on to your strength you will bounce back fast AF. I just wrapped up a nice 20lb cut. I kept my reps + weight the same and actually got a good bit stronger. Once I got back in a surplus my muscles filled up like balloons and I was able to add on a ton more volume. And I'm still veiny and much leaner than when I started. You are going to have to cut eventually, might as well do it now when you're at 13% than later when you are 15-16%. Better to stay leaner on average if being lean is part of your goals.

My friends invited me to the beach 3 weeks ago and I was chubby from my bulking:to:


Did an emergency cut and it was exhausting, I'd been going 12 weeks straight with no deload so I took a week off and I'm about to start back up nice and easy:whew:

I worked out on legs on Friday.
Someone has a challenge to lift your body weight 15 times in the squat, deadlift and bench press. So, I warmed up with 135 lbs for 10 reps. Then, I did 180 lbs. for 15 reps. I weighed in around 177 that day. :manny:
Then, I did 185 lbs. x 10 reps
190 lbs. x 10 reps
195 lbs. x 10 reps
200 lbs. x 10 reps
