Yeah they underrated af, a possibility would be to do a couple sets at the beginning of your chest workout before you continue with benching

I ran a mile and then worked on dumbbell curls.
I read an article that slow long jogs are not good when you want to be fast, in ice hockey. So, I've stopped doing slow jogs, around 5.5. MPH. I ran a mile at a 8 MPH pace so I finished in 7 mins. 36 seconds. I was running a 7 min 3 sec pace, but the treadmill took awhile to speed up to 8 MPH.
Anyway, that was an exhausting run. It felt okay for the 3/4 of a mile and the last quarter of a mile was tough.

any jogging tips? trying to comfortably make it to about 4-5 miles
Control your breathing. I do in through nose out through mouth but I read it's supposed to be the other way around.

Try not to get excited. Just stay calm and relaxed the whole time. Take a deep breath to help reset.

good looks...been doing 2, 3, and 4 mile jogs/sprints since I posted (small breaks in between depending on how fast I jogged the first mile). I had no idea the breathing was supposed to be reverse :ohhh:..I've been doing the in thru nose method also...might have to try and reverse that today

Yesterday, I ran a mile and did stretching. I pushed myself. Started at 8 MPH and increased it 0.1 MPH for every 0.1 miles I ran. I felt like quitting at the 0.75 mile mark but I kept on going. My lungs were starting to give out on me so after 0.8 miles I lowered it to 8 MPH. And then, when I got to 0.95 miles, I raised it to 10 MPH. I finished in 7 minutes and 8 seconds. That's 29 seconds faster than I ran it the day before.

It's not the bug ass @semtex built cats, or the thick ass muscular yet feminine women that gives me the most non-self motivation. It's the old people in the gym that push me.
They have every excuse in the world to sit at home watching the price is right. But where are they at noon, in the gym. Shuffling on the treadmills. Schoochin around the weight area. Hitting that curl machine. Some of em can barely walk yet they here. Truly is a feat. :wow:
