When you working out in a baggy hooded sweater and everybody looking at you like :rudy:

Then after a few warm-up sets you peel it off in your wife beater and they see your Gainz and be like :ooh:

And you give them :youngsabo:

Eventually it gets repetitive because your body pretty much shuts down weight loss...

It then becomes body recomp at that point...

I would imagine this shut down would occur closer to hitting your optimal weight based on height, age and genetics.

Like when I get to 195ish I'm fine if my body tapers off as far as weight loss is concerned. I'd be prime weight.

Adding a little pure lemon juice to much of my water intake the past 2 weeks has really made a difference in my diet and appetite. I feel a lot more satisfied and full than i ever did drinking soda or sugary fruit juice. I'm sticking with this routine from now on.

Everybody is different man I lost overall close to a 100 pounds in one year

But I constantly went through stages where I put back on weight so it’s a constant battle

As cliche as it sounds it’s a life change

I say don’t bother thinking about losing weight or keeping off

Stick to your routine and lifestyle changes and it will work itself out

Nothing clichéd about it at all. People choose to live in denial.

Today I tried HIIT cardio for the first time today, ran at 6 MPH for a few minutes with breaks in between, then did 6.2 MPH, break then did 6 MPH with 1.0 incline, was able to complete without getting gassed. Was on the treadmill for 25 minutes and ran a little over 2 miles in that period.

My cardio is not elite and I'm still a little fat, so I'm proud of myself :manny:

I didn't expect to be able to keep up at 6 MPH, I ran a mile in 11 minutes (5.3 MPH) quite a few times, but never in 10, Maybe next week I'll try to run a mile in 10 minutes as my cardio session today was a real confidence booster :lupe:

Only had 30 mins to get in a workout today because I had a late night at the office.

Knocked out DLs, T-Row, some assisted pull ups and lat-pulldows.

Could only do a set each of the latter two exercises. Got 5 sets for the former 2.

Something is better than nothing. Just need to get back to always getting in a workout no matter how small.

is there a consensus on wether or not HIIT is better than slow and steady cardio?

im thinking of doing HIIT...but I like doing a slow walk on an incline better.
But if HIIT is better, ill bite the bullet and do it.

Biked to the train station to get to work today

:ohhh:

This might be my new commute real talk.

About 15 mins, relatively flat terrain and you don’t work up a crazy sweat. It’s also still pretty cool, so you dry up quickly.

Just need a bigger bike so I can hold my work and gym items easily.

Was also mad peaceful just riding through the trail early in the morning.

It’s better for burning fat and getting a more ripped look

Starting back up with my fat burning treadmill routine.

The "4-4-4"

Take a 25 lb plate and press it against your chest, holding the plate in a 9 o'clock and 3 o'clock position.

Set treadmill to 4mph, incline @ 4.0, for 4 minutes.

Take 4 minutes rest. Repeat 3 more times. It's close to a mile upon completion...

After you're done, you are:
