Finally getting back into the grove of things after being challenged to a weight loss bet.

2 weeks of working out and eating a lil better and Im down to 244 from 253.

Feeling good besides and bum shoulder and an on again, off again knee.

Hit 365 on my 2nd day of Deadlifts after taking a year off. Trying to hit 400 by the end of this month. Was in the 480 range round this time last year, before I stopped going.

I really need to get my diet back in check tho if I want to win. 1 of the dudes in the challenge being going Keto since the day we started.
10 lbs in two weeks sounds like you the one doin Keto. You shouldn’t be losing weight that quickly on any other type of diet. Especially if your weightlifting. That’s 20 lbs in one month. That’s not safe or healthy

On an initial start that’s not uncommon. Water and some fat can easily whoosh out in the first few weeks. Weight loss isn’t linear so it’s doubt he would stay on that same pace.

You know that feeling when you're on a roll with your diet, training and sleep?

:banderas:

A nikka bounced back from February/March, put that personal drama to the side and just got to fukking work.

That hoe ready program is the truth, volume training is hella fun, i will never go back to single body part splits again.

Adding on good size naturally, and cardio and abs on off days nothing too crazy 30 mins (200 cals) and abs circuit. First you notice, then your wife notices then everyone notices. We gettin there.

:wow:

Is sleep that important cause on a good day I may get 6 hours :dwillhuh:
I learned this lesson the hard way breh..for years especially after my son was born a couple years ago my sleep was non existent Im talking 5-6 hours, shyt fukked me up all the way in the gym.

the difference between 6 hours of sleep and 7-8 hours is unbelievable. Way fresher, way more active, feel youthful, and much more noticeable muscle growth.

I already have a schedule my cutoff sleep time is 10pm (i done missed all the playoff games at 10:30pmET this year :heh:) and wakeup time is 5:30am..7.5 hours sleep.

I workout first thing in the morning, and by 4pm already 4 meals. Long story short it changes your life. It's tough at first to adjust to but once you're in a rhythm its a wrap.

He doesn't like you

he had been gently suggesting to me to put in more time outside of my lifting working on my endurance (which i obviously neglected to do).

i guess he's just being more direct now lol.
