Rescheduled on my date, he didn’t want to go into Manhattan so “early” with all the traffic (but he suggested the time?):stopitslime: told him he needs to be more forthcoming about his traffic desires and shyt if he wants to see me, I’m not meeting/eating and drinking for a first date at 11 :rudy:. So I just came home and cooked, been out since 11 am anyway.

It's crazy to me how a decade ago it was, "30 is the new 20," but now I see people in my age range talking about turning 30 like they need a fukking AARP card. :flabbynsick:

I'm almost 30 and I still feel as great as ever. Only difference between now and my early 20s is I pay more attention to warming up, and that's more of a preventative measure, not because I got hurt or anything.

Just wrapped up this 22 mile bike ride :blessed:
I wanted to go a little longer but it started to rain so I took the train home. Get off at my home station only to see the rain cleared up :beli:

Honestly, I don't know why it took me so long to get on the biking wave.

I'd head out again but no lie, my legs are cooked. I think i'll just wait until tomorrow. Next week I'll be in NYC so I'll look to bike they city Thu, Fri and Sat :wow:

Side note: Any breh struggling to get in cardio, I highly suggest copping a bike, especially if you live in a relatively urban area. Try replacing some car trips with biking e.g. a 5 min car ride to the grocery store turns to a 10 min bike ride etc.

On my ride today, I met this one dude who worked for DC Capital Bikeshare. We were chatting for bit while I was buying water. Dude told me 3 yrs ago he used to be 325 lbs and diabetic. He's like 180 now and he switched his commute from driving to biking every day.

Central park is the g.o.a.t.:wow:

I did it last summer. Can't wait to do it again!
How much you pay for your bike? I think I'm ready to get one. I live in Germany now and I've never been to a place so bike friendly. Bikes are treated damn near like cars here and the drivers actually give bike riders the same respect as another car. I know when I lived in MD it was nothing to hear about a bike rider being hit by a car.

In NYC I did this bike share program they had. It was like 12 bucks for an all day pass. Only thing is you had to keep the trips to under 30 mins or else you get charged. The way to beat that is by docking your bike and then undocking it immediately. A bit of a hassle but for a day trip not too much a problem.

But my personal bike, I got used for about 275. When you had in a lock, chain and a few other accessories then it comes to about 350. Pretty good deal. Bikes range from 100 USD to about 10k USD for the high end racing bikes.

Since you're in Germany I highly advise getting a bike. Europe is far more bike friendly than the US. I was in Amsterdam last summer and these guys have arguably the best biking infrastructure in the world. You can legit travel 50+ miles all on dedicated bike lanes. Even the highways have dedicated bike lanes. No wonder everyone there is in shape.

How do I burn this belly fat without losing my gains? :mjcry:

U gotta do low reps of the max weight you was doing...

Even if you do 1 rep and then a reset...

According to what I read, the lighter weight, higher reps during a cut sends the wrong message to the body..

There gonna be days where your body gonna give you no choice but to go lower, but stay as close to your max rep weight as possible..

So I found out that bacon has zero carbs plus the bread I was eating at home before all my craziness only has 11 grams of carbs per slice. Which isn't that much indeed but diabetes isn't caused by eating too much sugar but rather how your body processes it. Although based on what I've concluded so far, I'm sure that stress and anxiety lead to my high numbers but still gonna try to maintain a healthy diet and get my numbers back down. Last time I got blood drawn was like fifteen years ago and I fainted when I looked, same thing when I had a tooth extracted at the dentist a few years back. So I'm sure that I had some stress and anxiety thru the procedure. Gotta take it easy and alsolose some fat. It's a mental game and I'm sure it affects the body somehow.
