A fleeting childhood
Anybody ever have plantar fasciitis? I notice lately that my heel hurts every time I hoop (which is only about twice a month now) yet it doesn't hurt when I get on the treadmill.
Took me a long time to get over it. Because I was compensating for it while playing soccer, I ended up hyper extending my knee :francis:. I pretty much stopped working out for like two weeks after that and barely did any running or leg exercises.

on a brighter note, that max incline on the treadmill got me burning at least 250 every time I’m on it

Just did an hour of cardio and thirty lifting. My goal is to work out every day with my “rest” day being a 5 mile walk. I gotta get this weight off.
Same. I been eating under 1500 calories a day after factoring in cardio. I hope to be at 175 by end of the year. Currently at 185.

I used to suffer from it often you have a few ways to handle it either stretching or applying ice, different shoes, braces etc and taking pain killers...

I am required to run but in all honesty if I wasn’t I would not run and instead do other forms of cardio since I also suffer from stress fractures and fallen arches (flat foot)...the weight I am also doesn’t help as I doubt my frame is supposed to be 200+ pounds at 5’8. The impact on duration runs puts a lot of stress on you...I don’t see any reason to run more than the 2 miles I’m required and pretty soon that is about to end for me.

I’m about to do a fit to fight class in an hour- not really worried about over exerting myself considering I get super inconsistent but I’ll see how I feel.

What y’all use to track your workouts? App? Pen and paper? “Notes app” on your phone?

And we was talking gloves a few pages back, bought these and just used them for the first time and I’m already  not as hot and cumbersome as full gloves, doesn’t interfere with grip/nice natural feel on the bar, but great barrier to protect against calluses

Apple Watch and my Activity app connected to it.

I'm in the same boat. I had to give up on running long distances. Now I just limit myself to a mile or two 3 times a week.

I stumbled across Sterling K. Brown's workout on YouTube while I've been getting my stuff together at my place for a move. Figured I'd give it a shot since I didn't know when I'd be able to get to my main gym and I probably don't do enough body-weight stuff.

It's pretty simple, but hits everything and felt pretty effective. Give it a whirl if you feel like changing shyt up or adding something. He says he tries to get the three rounds done within 20 minutes, so that's the goal. :ehh:
