It's bad in the sense that they only have smith machines which means you never learn to lift properly there. That said, most people just want to be in decent shape so it’s the perfect gym for the average person.
I didn’t believe in the deadlifts. Heavier rdls were the missing link in my training :jbhmm: Salute brotha.

I was in the gym this morning thinking about that. My goal is to hit 600 before the end of the year but I shouldn't downplay a 500 lb DL. I think sometimes we forget how much effort it takes to do some of the things we do. Whatever I hit, I'm going to celebrate it.

And nobody can just walk in the gym and 500 casually. Gotta have strength and the technique.

Not related but two of my female friends are damn near turning bro down to taking creatine and it’s beautiful :banderas:

Amazing soccer game today scored two goals and really should have had a third.

Only issue is I hit a wild shot which tweaked my back a bit because of how I twisted.

I messed up on my form doing DLs on Thursday so a slight re-aggravation.

If I tried to DL 600lbs like @xXMASHERXx I’d have to give up soccer :mjcry:

It's interesting to me that my nephew is under the impression that calisthenics is only worthwhile for the skill stuff and doesn't understand how you can build muscle without lifting weights. I fear youtube shorts has adopted that young man :wow:.

It's aight tho I made him run an extra lap for the slander :blessed:

One of the reasons why I don't take fitness discussions outside of this area seriously. Most of the people on here are afraid to deadlift. I'm about to test my DL max this weekend:blessed:
My main issue was too much pulling and not enough hip hinge/extension. Fixing that made it what it’s supposed to be.
