I'm not knowledge on any of that stuff at all but from just looking at it, it seems like some performative shyt that is bound to get someone hurt. I don't see why you would want to pop up weight and catch it on your forearms like that in any scenario.

Loaded carries are great. How they are getting them into position is ripe for injury. Someone is going to see this, try it and snap their shyt up.

Training has been good but my diet…….

Got the wife holding me accountable this month and I’m doing the same for her.

For me the biggest issue was drinking on the weekends. M-F I’m usually pretty solid.

What helps me remain in a deficit is having a high protein breakfast (protein shake + boiled eggs/almonds and a coffee) and doing a nice cut of salmon in the evening.

It’s funny how for the last 1.5 weeks I was circulating the same 2-3 lbs then in like 2-3 days, whoosh, all dropped.

Upping my cardio has definitely helped. 4x a week lifting instead of 5x, using Friday for longer runs or boxing. Saturday will be for soccer as usual and I now want to alternate between hiking and cycling on Sundays.

I can tell this next 10-12lbs I cut will really start to show the gains and drop me to the next clothing sizes (trousers and shirts)

I don’t drink really at all. Maybe on a long vacation.

I’ve got a terrible sweet tooth and consume way too much ice cream. We were supposed to lock in all of June but I started last week.

Going to be a long month but it will be worth it.

My cardio endurance is getting much better. I’m consistently running sub 10min/miles even for 4+ mile runs.

I did a 5.25 mile loop around the lake last night around 10pm and was still able to get in a very good upper body workout this morning.

I’m glad I brought the runs back into my workout regime. I’ve shed some good weight the past couple of months so there’s less pressure on my knees and I can go longer. That runner’s high is undefeated.

Numbers on the scale and clothing fit aside, my numbers at the Drs. Office are looking much better. LDL cholesterol has dropped into a much lower range and my BP read 108/72 just a few weeks ago. Everything else looked pristine.

2025 has been different and it’s not even the halfway mark. Slow, steady and consistent is the name of the game. Can’t wait to see where I land by the end of the year maintaining this level of consistency in nutrition and exercise.

We move.

Same. :francis: It's the sole reason I can't crack sub 15% bf. I wanted to get to 12% this summer but it's not going to happen if I don't kick my ice cream habit (2-3x week).

Did 3 miles of running this morning and 30 minutes of jumprope with the weighted 1.5 lb jumprope for cardio today. Kept messing up though. Im trying to get my cardio in at home without having to go to the gym. Been learning calisthenics for a year now and still going to keep at it. Luckily theres a park nearby that with calisthenic pull up bars that i can run from where i live to do pullups, dips and etc. Cant do muscle ups YET BUT im determined to learn and get it pat down as long as it takes.

Gonna take swimming classes soon again until i learn how to swim. Im determined to be fully versed in cardio. That run felt good too. The only problem is that the pouch i had around my waste wasnt tight enough and cant slapping my nuts. :snoop: i had to stop eventually to readjust the pouch strap and then it broke. :mindblown: so going to research a substitute and gonna try go until im way on the other side of town. This exercise shyt is a lifestyle. Trying to chill with the shytty eating too.

Obviously ive been exercising for awhile now.. about 16 years now in and around the gym so trying to evolve and the calisthenics has been a good alternative. My chest exercises have been about pushups nowadays. Worked my way to 500 pushups. Do the incline diamond pushups or incline push ups. Then declining pushups. Different tricep exercises like dips. I do all those pushups once a week for chest day. Also i do burpees with the pushups during cardio too. Im trying to get mine in.

Im also paying attention to my energy because RESTING IS JUST AS IMPORTANT. I need to learn how to fukking sleep. I push myself to the point where i burn out and then im dragging the rest of the day. So watching it because cant afford to be injured from doing this shyt. My knees are hurting though from all that jumprope.. :snoop:

My mind was telling me ya done good it's time for bed now
:damn: but my body was like how many of these can I crank off before my arms stop working :mjlit:
I don't know who the fukk it wad who typed this. These dips are whipping my ass every time now :damn:
