Gotta get into the office pretty early so I’ll do 30 mins on my jump rope just so I get something in before work. No soccer for me anyway so I’ll do a rare Saturday AM gym workout

That pop of warm weather was exactly what I needed to snap back into things.

I swear that first weekend of warm weather gets more people into the gym than New Years Resolutions. It’s a good reminder that summer is around the corner.

Would y’all say working out is addictive?

It can be in different ways. I don’t like going a day without some form of activity. Even if it’s a 30 minute walk I have to do something. I feel not great if I don’t.

The bolded. Once you start going regularly, you realize how much your mood is improved by working out so you keep at it.

Even if I can’t get to the gym, a 30 min run or jump rope is needed.

I imagine if you have a routine you try not to break it

And I read that people who may be trying to break another addiction typically go all in working out

And the qualities of working out I can see how it would be addictive

Especially when you see the gains....it's as if you must keep going.

Of course there are many of those who lose those quick 10-15 pounds. They haven't scratched the surface on how to make it a legit lifestyle change.

I feel like more so than aesthetics that it feels good so people gon do what makes em feel good, its kinda like a positive feedback loop

They just need to keep plugging at whatever got them to drop that initial 15lbs. Time, consistency, and an identity change really. Gotta keep at it for multiple seasons until the changes become 2nd nature.

Good back day today

Definitely feel like I’m settled in at the new gym. Hit the benchmark where you keep ending up in the same training areas as one specific female and it starts to get uncomfortable :lolbron::mjlol:
