The majority of this thread is men saying they wouldn't mind being married, weirdo.
No marriage will work, however, when modern women's divorce countdown clock starts ticking as soon she hears, "You may now kiss the bride."

Eight out of ten divorces are filed by women, and eight out of ten of those divorces are filed because of boredom. Modern men want to be married, it's women who want to have their cake, eat part of it then decide they shouldn't have, but the next day take another bite, then wish for the full cake back, then toss the cake away thinking they'll find a better cake, then start cycling through bakery after bakery, each time being less able to afford a higher quality cake than previous bakery provided - but getting bitter because they deserve a perfect cake and start blaming the lower quality cakes they can afford for the fact they had a good cake in the beginning.

I got married on Friday to a woman I love. We've been together 8 years. She was with me when I was broke and struggling to make rent, and she's with me now as we are a few years into our mortgage, living comfortably

It's just so bizarre to me, just coming from a setting where we threw this amazing party for friends and relatives, had an incredible amount of positive feedback, on the job we did planning but also our character.

I know tons of people in here are not used to having someone have their back like that. To them showing the quality of their character over and over again. To have their family show their character, and reinforce it over and over again in positive ways. To understand that someone else can have your back, they can keep your secrets, they are willing to take that leap with you, and build, and grow. I know many of you haven't had that yet. All I want to say is this: you have to be open to that to receive it. You have to be willing to leave your safe space and put yourself out there.

I said the smartest women you know or can think of. Having a degree doesn’t make you smart. I graduated almost 10 years ago. Some of us have Masters, own properties, married with children, successful businesses, leaders in local communities etc. The top 20% male and female. Some are just getting by. The smartest people I know don’t tend to have accidental kids.

if half the top 20% smartest women you know are single mothers have always been. That’s why you have the perspective. Your network is low quality.

Mine are doctors, architects, married, engaged or single. None are single mothers. I dated quality women 20 - 30 and I’ve only ever dated 1 babymama who was a 10/10 looks wise to me.

likewise with the men. The quality of my male connections are high. I’m 30, none of my closest 10 male friends have children outside of marriage.

if 50% of the best and smartest you know have kids outside of wedlock that says more about you than women as a whole.


Like I said. Most smart men and women don’t have kids outside of wedlock. You even see the difference in rap. The smartest rappers tend not to have baby mama’s outside of wedlock except for Diddy whose baby mama’s are in check.

Some of these dudes, but statistically speaking most black people come from broken homes. I come from a 2 parent household, they're still married and watching the day to day/seeing what's necessary to facilitate that. makes it that much easier to see most people ain't built for it, and most modern women aren't worth the risk. To some degree they are products of the environments/social climate but there are tons of non selfish, people with morals too so that's a copout that avoids accountability in the fact that a large swath of ain't shyt folks men and women choose to be that way. Women just tend to get a pass for it a much higher clip

To the second bolded point, all of that is modern women, and most men's primary gripe with women. How can I trust you if you came into my life after I got it out the mud and built by my damn self. Women want finished products more than ever despite having work in progress int heir bios
