The bro having a spotter and giving him pros:picard:

Anyway, boofed up front squats again. Can't seem to keep my fingers on the bar without this crazy elbow placement.:francis:

Love the tension from cable lateral raises, but i'm only feeling it when i do my left side, can't figure if its just foot placement or what.:francis:

Might have to invest into some straps if today's romanian deads don't go well.:francis:

I haven’t tried it yet but straps might be more optimal for front Squats @BillBanneker

Yeah, I might have try that. Although, I feel its just masking my left shoulder inflexibility but I've gotten better on keeping my chest up and since i'm not trying to work my shoulders anyway it'll allow me to heavier.

Step 1 - I’m awake
Step 2 - get out of bed :sadcam:
Went, workout felt better being in my own world vs being pushed/coached by a trainer.

How often y’all work your abs? Throw an ad exercise in with every workout? Do a day or two of deliberate an work (3 or more exercises in one workout)? Or live by the principle that if you engage your core while lifting and doing cardio that’s enough an work?

One thing annoying me about my trainer, for the past 9 months we had like 15 mins worth of abs to start the workout, seemed like a waste of time to do that much ab work.

I don’t do anything direct. I try to lift heavy on compounds and get a fair amount of heavy carries in. That said my understanding is that it’s better to do them post lifting if it’s not a dedicated abs/cardio session.

I paid for a abs app, not too bad. Routine is about 5-8 minutes after I do my weight training. I typically workout 4-5 days a week and has been alright. I think you can get away with training abs a lot:ehh:

I'm eating in a calorie surplus right now so the gains aren't all there (yet).:francis:

which app do you use...not that i think i need one, got too many ab exercises on deck, but maybe there should be more of a strategic approach to abs

6 pack promise, not bad allows to do random ab workouts with/without equipment. I like since it takes all the mental work for me and is varied enough it doesn't get that boring.
Its paid (I think still $3.99) tho if you wanna unlock everything. :francis::ehh:

There's another I think its free, six pack 30 days? Another guy I know said it was dope and apparently free.

I bought this thing on amazon called a wedge to help with my forearms lagging behind....that shyt is great

I do 3 sets of constant reps for 90s on each arm and I can't even hold a fork after that shyt.
