so i let my nephew talk me into animal cuts :francis: i still do cayenne pepper, lemon, and green tea every morning. i'm still on my intermittent fasting, just not everyday. Today i had my first pack, a bottle of water, and a metrx big 100 replacement bar. thats gone last until i get home do a fruit smoothie,hit the gym and some cardio and then finish up with a decent home made salad.

Man if we don't win Thursday we not winning any games this season. Took another L last night. IDK how we're playing the worst ball since I started back playing 18 months ago, with us now having the best team we've assembled. We're easily the most skilled and athletic team in the league.

I just look at other teams and see groups that know their roles and individual limitations. I didn't realize how truly out of sync we are until I played Center Back last night (fewest goals let in all season, but also fewest goals scored by far) and watched how we play. Nobody making runs for each other. Nobody showing to the ball. People not tracking back. Lots of finger pointing. We're all arguing w/ each other. This shyt is ugly :unimpressed:

Anyway back on that Squatober grind. Now that I've seen what the overall strength gains I feel like I'm more motivated than ever in the gym.

Man these tabata workouts they got us doing is just :damn: Doing push ups had me :sadbron:


Debating if I wanna do this for my conditioning finisher after weights now, or jump rope:lupe:

forgot how good butter tastes :noah: i usually only use butter to bake and for roasted chicken, but for some reason decided to do toast in the broiler with butter this morning, shyt was delicious...might need to make room in my diet for more butter :pachaha:

Wat kind of work out gloves y'all using? I'm on my 3rd pair that I've worn out, this last pair had that rubber layer that just came off piece by piece every heavy deadlift session
shyt reminds me i need new gloves. was deading yesterday and my hands were burning as if i didn't have on gloves at all, mine are shot

I don't. I feel like I can't properly lift with them. I use chalk when needed otherwise I just lift bare:yeshrug:

This cold/flu sidelined me this week only worked out once, today I ran with the weight vest then did some parachute sprints finished with some heavy bag/footwork drills

What would you suggest
Straight leg dead lifts for high, paused reps so you feel the burn

Glute ham raises are the goat but most gyms don’t have a set up to make em easy to get into the position

One legged kettle ball dead lift (not sure the exact name but it’s basically a straight leg dead lift but you lift one leg off the ground)
