You have a decent amount of muscle mass. You just need to get on an aggressive cut and you'll have an aesthetic physique.

I would suggest fasting. And not that p*ssy intermittent fasting shyt. I'm talking PROLONGED FASTING. Its the most efficient way to lose body fat while not losing any muscle mass.

I would suggest starting out with a 72 hour fast to detox your body from its food addiction. After that first fast, you'll be able to get into a regular 48 hour fasting routine. Do that for one month and you'll lose 20 lbs of pure fat. Then all that muscle mass you've been building will be revealed fully.

When I made that comment, I was referring to guys in the gym with lots of excess body fat that lift heavy weights. Having lots of muscle is kinda pointless if its covered by lots of body fat to the point where you have almost no definition. My point is that cutting body fat is way more important than being able to lift a little more.

I could pack on 20 more pounds easily over the next month and my lifts would also improve. But my body wouldn't be as aesthetic. It comes down to me preferring to have a very lean aesthetic physique over trying to out lift guys with less definition in the gym.

That's cause they are using drugs. If you're natural, you will be as strong as you look. Aesthetic physiques are aesthetic because they are signals of genetic fitness. For example, women are attracted to muscular men because muscular men are stronger and being stronger meant a greater likelihood of surviving in the past.

We're really debating over how much body fat is acceptable. Not about muscle mass. I just choose to think a very low body fat percentage (sub-10%) is optimal. And at that low level of body fat there are natural limits as to how much muscle mass each of us can carry. Some guys prefer to not be that lean and instead be heavier even if it means some more body fat. To each his own. I'll take a lean athletic physique over a yolked out body builder physique any day.

He actually trains hard so IF (which he was already doing) isn’t the best idea.

Thats the problem with throwing out any advice just on a whim without knowing or asking about other factors being involved.

I’ll call this fairly..........

The reality is that “aesthetics” is totally subjective so there is almost never going to be an agreement there.

I will say that sub 10% BF is fukking rare for non-athletes. Most brehs don’t have a really concept of what that means. Along those lines there is a push pull with muscle mass and BF%.

Got into the gym little eariler...when noone is usually going... 30 mins later wave of people starting coming in.. I just can't do these packed gyms anymore. There's already a up tick of coivd19 cases in my area. :francis:

I def wouldn't go to the gym if I was worried about rona like that, even if I went when it wasn't crowded.

You'd still have no idea if the surfaces were contaminated or not.

I said it here couple days ago but right now I’m on my personal quest for my best form so far after sickness, quarantine & junkfood only left me on :flabbynsick:
And I gotta say, what’s kickin my ass the most is the jump rope.
I bought a weighted one and jumping daily atm. Started at barely a minute with lungs on fire after my stamina been wiped out. Now I’m getting to the 5 min mark again :obama:
BUT what I totally forgot after years without the rope is how much that shyt kills your calves :sadbron:

IDK what I did to my shoulder but I can't even go out and shoot a free throw let alone put up some weight :mjcry:

I was so ready to go to the gyms too but w/ the Rona numbers in NC right now...I'm not mad that I'm on rest orders rn
