Personally I don’t approach it that way so I won’t try to say on that front. To me the food deficit is the mechanism to lose the weight and the exercise is for heart health and to maintain muscle. I think chasing activity for cals is to con-plicated of a science for most people and just makes a mess of the goal. I wont say it’s right or wrong because I’m sure it works for some but I just don’t subscribe to that method.If I’m burning off let’s say 1500 calories a day, then Should I be eating 3300 calories to end up at 1800 for the day?
Most of my daily lifting and walking comes from my jobWalking shouldn't be an issue.
I would cut the lifting down to around an hour (not sure of how many sets/reps your doing), my recovery started to get better when I just cut down on the volume at some point.
Saw your other post regarding macros, I would def eat way more protein, cut down on the carbs and see how your recovery goes.

I mean it’s a fairly consistent experiment so it’s going to be ever evolving. I wouldn’t so much about hormones. It think that aspects is probably over played long term. You are more likely to hit a general wall you can’t push through than truly screw up your hormones. Like @BillBanneker said you may have to look at limiting volume but I don’t think you are training to that level which most people aren’t or they realize they can’t realistically do so.Ok I understand I just wanted to make sure I wasnt fukking with my hormones if I was cutting too hard
