Tried quinoa in my crockpot chicken soup recipe instead of brown rice...pretty good :ehh:

Also, IF is really making me pay more attention to my food choices. If the last thing you eat in your feeding window isn't nutritionally dense, you're gonna be HANGRY in a few hours lol. Eating more eggs, salmon, Ezekiel bread, etc.

Past two weeks I’ve been doing 400 swings every other day in under 30 minutes. Got some swimming in too, which felt amazing:banderas:

This really has me thinking of joining a swimming club.

Ran 2 miles this morning
2nd workout gone be
300 jabs
300 right cross
300 snap kicks with each leg
300 muay kicks with each leg
All this wearing 50lb weightvest and 5lb weights in each hand
Was gone do it as complete fasted workouts/ training but read up on how that does more harm than good. So im keeping my calorie intake below 1500
Weighing at 263 right now

A fleeting childhood
Finished first week of this 10k kettlebell swing challenge. :hamster: Three more weeks to-go:sadcam:.


Hamstrings feeling different, grip strength too:mjcry::wow: Wish I could do a little more upper body volume sets/reps but but this has me by itself:dead:


Going to be interesting how I cut cals with this though. Hopefully the improved conditioning gives me some room energy-wise:francis:

What is this 10k kettle ball swing challenge you speak of ?

Just something I found when looking for kettelbell swing workouts. Suppose to really with help with conditioning, grip and posterior chain strength, which should translate to other lifts.

The 10,000 Swing Kettlebell Workout | T Nation

TL;DR; With a 53lb (24kg) kettlebell, you do 500 swings 4-5 days a week until you hit 10k swings. The article goes into better detail for the rep/set scheme, but you also incorporate other lifts in between (pullups, bench, squats, etc), although your volume is going to be much lower and is more so for maintenance.

It's pretty simple but def crazy.

Felt like @All-Black the Necroverse today. Idiot was working between a squat rack and the deadlift platform doing low reps on squats and BB rows and on his phone.

:birdman: I need you to clear up some space, you can’t have two of the three biggest pieces of equipment like this.

I should be ready to get back to the soccer pitch by mid-late September. I ran a scrimmage last week and although my conditioning and stamina has improved (rowing, biking, jump rope), my technical ability is rusty (that's expected tbh). I bought a few balls and cones to run some drills on my rest days.

Head down to the park and just work on my touch, dribbling and shooting. I still end up working up a light sweat :ehh:

Ehh, I don't really practice em tbh. Our league is 9v9 and the posts are a bit smaller than the regular post (same height, smaller length/width) so I never saw the need. Also, we have a one step rule for PKs so no point in practicing.

Main thing I'm focusing on are my touches and dribbles in tight spaces (usually in and out of cones).

That’s dope. I kicked around a soccer ball for the first time (don’t ask) and my appreciation went way up for what players can do with it.
