I was listening to Nip Crenshaw In the gym today & it got me thinking. What’s an album you could let ride while working out?

Usually I got my playlist but today I was like fukk it ain’t listened to Crenshaw in a min.

Finally about to get back to touching the weights tomorrow after two weeks off.

I was squatting three times for about a month. Got to a point where I hit 350 for 5x5 and my lower back could not take that shyt lmao so I took two weeks off to chill. Focused on cardio and we back into it.

Switching the program out completely going to focus more on bench this time until I’m benching 315 5x5. Bench is so slow because it’s much more smaller muscles but we will get there.

Ay big bro, you ever tried rep cycling? Eventually you will max out on linearly adding weight with the same rep scheme, but if you cycle the intensity along with changing the rep scheme...

An example would be going from 5x5 to a 5x3 or 4x4 to a 3x3 to a 1x3 and then resetting. Can be done with a "just add weight" type of progression, using 1RM %, or even RI % (relative intensity).

Quad strength is stalling, I can tell in my higher weight deadlifts. :francis:


Might go to the gym tomorrow morning to Front Squat and run only. Still have to squat again Mon-next Sat so that'd be 13 days in a row.:patrice::bryan:
