Officially tested out some maxes and now joined the 1K Club

285 bench
405 deadlift
350 squat

I'll probably be maintaining from here instead of trying to increase all of these totals, but good to know I can join the club now. I'm 175-180 pounds (shyt fluctuates, I have terrible metabolism) so I feel good about these numbers.

Those are impressive numbers :whew:

i'm finally getting caught up on the first seasons of 'Ballers' and spotted one of my gym dudes making a cameo in Season 1 episode 5 - machete charge.... swole dude called cousin troy in the strip club scene... we kick it a lot about miami heat games during the season. :lift: imma ask him about it the next time i see him.:laugh:

Really thinking of dropping bench press and concentrating on cable chest exercises and push ups for my chest. :patrice:I train by myself and I can't seem to get the form right, ending up with some shoulder pain a few days after.

Think I'll come back when I'm a bit stronger.

Do you ever video yourself?

If not start there. The video won't lie if there's any technical issue. I train alone also and I video a lot so if I'm off in any way it's staring me in the face.


You could post here or do a side by side comparison with like Mark Bell or someone like that if you don't wanna post

I know some bench monsters who rarely do anything beyond Dumbbells, cables and hammer strength tho

You can still make gains on hammer strength chest presses. My chest development got way better with just hammer strength incline press and chest dips
