Evening leg day done. Strength is still there, endurance lacking a bit.

Tomorrow back to the 5AM workouts and will be 2/2 to start May.

Next week Friday I got my rescheduled physical so I’m working to ensure the yo-yo weight settles by then (some is water weight, some is a slight increase from April). Put a stake in the ground after the physical and push on consistently from there.

Next 9 weeks are a grind. We move.

Just curious, how experienced are you with working out?

I'd say I'm intermediate in terms of lifting and working out generally speaking. Started in college with lifting, but been kinda off and on in the gym since then. But I have always kept active (mainly soccer). This is the year I'm being more disciplined about getting in the gym consistently, that and really watching my nutrition. That was always my achilles heel, not being disciplined in how I eat so I wouldn't make as much progress as needed. That, and vice (mainly weed).

I use Chat GPT more so for inspiration and getting a decent structure in place. I know how to lift but not necessarily how to design the optimal plan if that makes sense. Like I'm not a noob in the gym.

I can bench 230, squat like 360, DL 375, OHP 140. Definitely not rookie numbers

I was curious why you were using Chat GPT which is why I asked.

Gotcha, makes sense. Chat GPT is just for getting a good plan. I used to overload my plans when I first started but I've been getting better about structuring something. I usually focus on 2-3 big lifts and then a few accessory movements. So my leg day might be:

Squats, RDL, Goblet Squats, Lunges, Leg curls and/or leg extensions. Get some compound lifts but also doing some accessory work.

Chat GPT also suggests exercises I don't do as much, especially the accessory work. Also good for giving me alternative lifts to switch things up a bit.

I don't even bother making my own routines. Plenty of good routines, created by smarter and more experience people than myself. Right now I'm doing PHAT to give my body a break from the powerlifting workouts I've been doing for the last 2 years. Probably going to stay with it until the end of summer than go back to 531 or something similar.

22 for 22, Mon - Fri. That's the goal for May.

Back to basics and grafted to the grind. Monk mode activated and I'm ready to break through this plateau :banderas:
How in the world do you work out so much. I'm looking at my 3 days a week like something has to give. If you are a cyborg just say that

I mean everyone is different but I have to do 30 minutes of some type of movement each day or I don’t feel right.
If you don't mind me asking does your job require physical activity too?

But yeah to be honest I was sedentary most of my life so being consistent with fitness is still new to me. Since starting in November this is the most consistent I have ever been

Not at all. Desk/WFH so getting movement in the AM is critical for me.

Honestly breh, it’s gotten to the point that I gotta do something every day if not I feel off. 2 upper days, 2 lower days then the 5th may be accessory work or a sport.

It’s just how my schedule is set up
