90/10 rule... don't starve yourself of life to get results that would lead you to wanting to partake in extra excess due to the results..... still going to get to the same destination. especially if the weekends have some sort of moderation exercised....I think by Tuesday my back should be good.
Got in a light upper day workout yesterday. Bench, incline db bench, and some cable rows. Nothing too crazy and no lower back issues.
Been doing some stretches (seated leg raises) and it’s been helping release the lower back pain as well.
Getting ready for soccer in a few minutes and still got a nice ride planned for tomorrow.
Halfway into May and I really feel I’m back on track with my cut just gotta hone in on this next 10. Social functions on the weekends are still tricky but I think after MDW next weekend I should be in the clear.
It’s a lifestyle change anyway. In it for the long term.

Helps me FWIW

That's basically my warmup method now I was just hoping for something less taxing. The answer might just be to increase calories again. This isn’t exactly what you mean but it worked for me and you might be able to adjust as needed

by Tim Henriques Ready to go for a new PR in the bench press, squat, or deadlift? How you warm up could make or break your max. Follow these guidelines. I’ll admit, right here in the first sentence, that warming up for a one-rep max is a pretty individual thing. I’ve seen some people blast out a...t-nation.com
