I think by Tuesday my back should be good.

Got in a light upper day workout yesterday. Bench, incline db bench, and some cable rows. Nothing too crazy and no lower back issues.

Been doing some stretches (seated leg raises) and it’s been helping release the lower back pain as well.

Getting ready for soccer in a few minutes and still got a nice ride planned for tomorrow.

Halfway into May and I really feel I’m back on track with my cut just gotta hone in on this next 10. Social functions on the weekends are still tricky but I think after MDW next weekend I should be in the clear.

It’s a lifestyle change anyway. In it for the long term.

We move
90/10 rule... don't starve yourself of life to get results that would lead you to wanting to partake in extra excess due to the results..... still going to get to the same destination. especially if the weekends have some sort of moderation exercised....

Yep, I’m trying to find the right balance so I’m not missing out on life experiences.

That’s why I’m really honing in on my M-F routine and ensuring it’s regimented so even if there’s some slack on Sat and Sun, I’m tracking well to my goals.

I gotta figure something out with my warmup sets for DL and Squat. Loading the weight for warmup sets is starting to be a workout.

If you have space, deep walking lunges. Hits damn near everything lower body including hip mobility

Helps me FWIW
More so trying to determine how many warmup sets I need to be doing to get me mentally and physically ready for the working sets. Lower weight isn't too bad, heavy weight be leaving me so exhausted by the time I'm done with squats that I don't have much left for anything else.

This isn’t exactly what you mean but it worked for me and you might be able to adjust as needed

That's basically my warmup method now I was just hoping for something less taxing. The answer might just be to increase calories again.

My back is back !! :blessed:

Starting up Lyle McDonald’s plan again but with a modification for more shoulder work.

Also back to BB bench as well. My shoulder issue seems to have subsided.

Great way to start the new week.

7:50 AM and my upper body workout is done.

I got in an amazing 43miles of cycling yesterday. Mainly flat with a few hills hear and there but nothing crazy.

Looking to finish May even stronger than I started. We move.

6:57am PST, just finished leg day. This was a legit 9.5/10 workout :whew: Left the gym with sweat down my legs to my socks

Dropped the weight on squats a bit (345lbs to 325lbs) so I could get more depth in my squat and really hit the glutes.

Only thing I may add is Goblet squats at the end for some more reps.

We continue to move.

@Capitol good work breh, get at it :salute:

Today is leg day for me as well. Supposed to do heavy squats and DLs. Might just do singles. Going to load up on carbs and see how my body feels after the last warm up set.
