Rest from what?
Been doing cardio early morning and weights mid afternoon while cutting. Went from 22% body fat to 11%. Got sick for a week and decided to take another week off because i was still meh with no energy. I should of just push through after i felt better. And honestly, i could of lifted through the sickness as it was an upper respitory issue.

How long didn’t it take to drop your BF that much? How did you measure it?

Always better to get some movement after being sick. Dial it back but still get activity.

Calipers. 3 fold technique. Also took pics and told chatgpt to esitmate it :russ: I was only eating 1700 cals a day. My normal cuts are usually 2100. I went more aggressive this cut. Literally ate nothing but proteins and fruits/veggies.

When i started up again after being sick, felt like i havent worked out in months. but i know it wont take long to get back into my groove again.

So i gave myself a 2 week rest after hitting my target weight/goal...the past 4 months i been going hard. Just a friendly reminder, even a 2 week rest sets u back a bit. Never again :francis:
Boy I know that feeling, when I injured my back a year or 2 ago. I couldn't lift really for like 2 months and lost all the progress I had.

I told myself after that, never to ego lift cause that's how you lose all the hard work.

Did a 5k run to my gym. Done a full body strength workout (pull-ups, dips, squats, deadlifts, ring rows, push-ups) and a little bit of toes to bars to improve my skill. Now preparing for the 5k run home.
My legs are gonna be sore as hell:sadcam: never combined longer runs with strength training before. Hoping to make a habit out of it though.

The follow up to this should be interesting

The run back went pretty good, had to do some walking in between but overall my pace was 5:50/kilometer vs 5:25 on the way to the gym :ehh:

Calves are killing me right now though, getting out of bed was not fun at all. Luckily I have to walk a lot at work so it'll get better once I move a bit.
Overall not that bad, if the weather allows I might try to do this more often, maybe not combined with a full body workout though:pachaha:
