I went to a wedding last week thursday and my friend married this guy who she knew 7 years ago but they drifted apart but she always remembered him. REconnected on fb as he lived in another province dude moved 3000miles they got married.

Totally agree but I've found they do return even if it's for just a short period of time and I've seen your story happen before as well. But true if it's really meant to be then nothing will stand in the way.

I'll be honest for myself, I'm not into the "drifting away" and letting fate bring them back. Once a person is gone they're gone to me. This might sound harsh but it's why I don't have male friends because I don't keep my ex around once we're over the number is deleted and blocked. So I don't know who's tried coming back. That works better for me keeps me sane and ends the cycle of rehashing the same problems.

I gave the no contact because I have seen that work many times on female family and friends.

She most likely feels she has the upper hand now with you chasing her and what not. That's a turn off because we want to feel protected and connected to our man. We want to know and feel he's a provider/protector, it's partly biology. You're not acting like a protector and have also given up your power in this situation. She most likely feels she holds the power right now and that's not good. You won't be respected and cutting contact helps you to gain a more real perspective of the relationship and person. I know you've blamed yourself for messing things up but maybe you should ask yourself why you did what you did. Look within like do some soul searching and I'll bet you'll find the answers you need.

I'm not hitting her up anymore. This could mean losing her for good and I'm just going to have to accept it. I facetimed her this morning and it wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. She knows I'm sick and she knows I'm hurt. She loves me and I love her. She said me hitting her up and saying I miss her etc. drains her. She said I just need to live for the day and better myself and not worry about her. She said it's been 3 months and what has really changed. I honestly couldn't tell her what's changed. She said me thinking a certain way doesn't mean I changed. Said I have to show it with actions. But at the same time if I cut off all communication how will she notice my change? Maybe that's a dumb question but it's a serious one. I don't know how Ima find the strength to not buckle at times and hit her up but I HAVE TO fukkING DO THIS.
