I’m so happy I’m back to playing soccer. That weekend game is so crucial for my mental health.

My technique was good and my reading of the game has improved. I do lack that spring in my step (probably my knee) and endurance. Only my 2nd week back after about 6-7 weeks on the sidelines so I expect things to improve. Gonna look into getting a compression sleave for my knee.

My competitive season starts in 3 weeks and while I do think I’ll perform well, I’ll probably have to play my way into shape, which is never ideal. By summer I should peak well.

Side note: just copped these bad boys off Amazon for $60. But my boy got me with a $100 amazon gift card for $55 :mjgrin:

:mjgrin:shyt...I used to just use earplugs for like 2 years straight....I just recently got on the bluetooth game. Fufu nikkas not able to workout with headphones the same ones to skip the gym b/c they forgot their kool-aid pre-workout and sissy gloves. Man up brehs...I love this shyt. :banderas:

Yea I'm going for a long walk today as a rest day.

Was in the Gym M, T, Th, F. (Chest, Back, Back, Chest) and Played soccer Saturday - No legs for the time being because I usually work them out from cardio (biking and soccer). Plus my knee ain't letting me squat like I'd like.

This was the first "perfect" active week I've had in a while because of work.

I'll keep at this until Memorial Day weekend before I take off a week of rest.

Doing 20-30 mins worth of deadlifts one the only platform and then another 45 minutes with your trainer while super setting should be punishable by death.
