I mean big picture I don’t know that the machine or apparatus matters if it’s helping with the goal. Of course there wouldn’t 100% crossover to doing front squats with a oly bar.
Same, I don’t have the elbow and upper back flexibility to do it. Cross Grip works but after a certain weight that much pressure on the clavicle is no bueno. There are variations with cheap lifting straps that can get you pretty close FWIWi have a hard time getting the right grip using the bar
