A few observations:

-The switch from low bar to high bar squat has been good so far, I take it easy & add 25 pounds each week. What has helped A LOT is doing ankle mobility warmup (the classic exercise with the bar on your legs sitting down) before.

-Ill have to do more cardio, its super :flabbynsick:. Im out of breath pretty fast, cant get away with no specific cardio anymore it seems :mjcry:

-Stretching & mobility is important as hell, in addition to training certain assistance muscles on the regular again (specifically glute medius). Fell off for months but Im getting back into a good groove right now

Gonna have to buy my own weight clamps to bring to the gym :francis:

Ask the baddie that works here for a pair of clamps n she said they only got 2 now n both lent out, they started out with 24 of em but ppl steal em :mjlol:
I really don't understand that shyt. Do they have their own shyt at home and stealing them for home use? Otherwise, fukk are you doing with some damn clamps? I hate looking all around the gym for them sometimes wondering how they could be in a shortage and shyt.

I just bring my own clips because of this. Got tired of having to search for them.

I really didn’t have a workout in me today, I ran around all morning, ate breakfast then went to the gym. Every bone and muscle in my body pretty much went no, so I left. Mondays I usually end up taking as rest day anyway.

Yep, same here. The gyms I've gone to have clips but half the time you can't find them, being used, or the wrong size for the barbell. That $11 dollars was worth it just not having to deal with the hassle anymore.

The scale is down, total of five lbs lost which I think should be a little more. I won’t complain though. I know my sleep hygiene is poor, so my goal going forward is to get at least 8 hrs every night. I am def upping my water intake, it’s not that I drink a bunch of other stuff (bc I don’t besides chai tea lattes w/ almond milk, a Snapple and ginger ale not in the same week) but my bladder is small.

I did weights (a circuit of machines plus free) today, 30 mins and tried out the 20 lb dumbbell, it was fine.

Yes but I don’t drink anything else, don’t really see a need to cut them out completely as I have maybe one a month the chai 2-3. I know they’re loaded with sugar and do include them in my calorie counts.

The chai I can go to one since they’re 240 cals for a grande.
