I'll bite. BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids) refer to a group of 3 specific amino acids. Amino acids are simply the building blocks of protein. You don't need them.

Whey isolate is simply a type of whey protein (there is also concentrate, blends, hydrolyzed whey, etc). You are not at a point yet where this means anything to you. Also, please be advised that, biologically, there is no such thing as a protein for women (I know what you mean though). Protein is protein and 'protein for men' will work just as good as protein for women. Get whatever fits your budget and macros and won't jack up your stomach. Some people react differently to different supplements.

Not sure what Burn is (sounds like a fat burner). Fat burners are super overrated (most do nothing) and very few supplements are actually worth spending money on. Protein, creatine, certain vitamins/minerals for those deficient, and a few others.
it may help if i provided picture examples.

So this was the whey protein i got that i picked up at walmart. I realized soon after it had a much smaller amount gram wise of protein than others i;ve seen...and upped the price. An L i took, but whatever.

when i went to the health food store, the attendant showed me a particular brand with a supplement that would help metabolize fat and still give me the boost needed like a pre-workout would.

i guess my concern came from if i took this, and took BCAAs after a workout instead of whey would that be too much on my body? I'm just seeking other ways to endure a little more at the gym. I'm fairly new at all this.

I would skip both and if you can eat a full meal after training then you might not need the whey either

i usually go to the gym at around 10:30-11 at night (gym anxiety, nikkas like to come in that hoe 9-10 deep and hog all the machines if i go earlier). I usually eat dinner at around 7 at night. Usually i just take my protein and go to bed after working out

Good call

You definitely don’t want to take that fat burner (or caffeine in general) after working out especially before going to bed

To reiterate, if you are asking these questions you do not need supplements (no shade intended). You may take them if you like of course, but the benefit they provide in the grand scheme of things is minimal at best (0-10% of the puzzle). Good quality workouts, sleep, and food/hydration will trump everything. With that said,...

There is no sense taking BCAAs post-WO. Either take them intra-WO (during) if you train fasted (like during an IF window or early morning) or you might as well not even bother. The benefit of taking BCAAs is to provide the body with essential amino acids when food is not available. After a WO food should be available to taking BCAAs post is kinda moot.

Post-WO should always be a shake and/or meal (carbs, fats, protein) IMO.

Never heard of Burn or that brand of supp but as a general rule I never buy anything that supp store workers push. Most have very little knowledge if any and/or don't eem lift. If it has the benefit of a PWO, one of the supps that actually works, why not just get a low-stimulant Pre and see how you like it?

Edit: If you workout before bed I would skip the Burn and a pre.

Lastly, if at all possible, buy your shyt online. It would be cheaper and the selection will be greater.

Was getting a shake talking to these 2 young chicks in the gym after a workout. Both were talking and agreeing with each other about eventually getting botox and wanting breast implants. Apparently they have wanted them since age 10 and most girls think this. fukk is wrong with people these days man? I'm like you are healthy, able to breathe and function. Why risk it? What a dumb and insecure generation.

Before I started really lifting a couple years ago I had no idea people were so obsessed with arms. Its crazy. When I am talking to people their eyes are drawn to them. Straight dudes, girls everyone. Almost like cleavage. lol. Plus the amount of comments I get is crazy. I had no idea muscles mattered so much to people
