A fleeting childhood
Let me guess you are like 28 :stopitslime:
30 in a few months :damn:

but seriously my endurance has really fallen off a cliff. I used to do 5 mile runs like it was nothing. Not breaking the world record but steady with no breaks. Now I made it like 1000ft and had to walk til I caught my breath :damn:

Edit.. not sure how much my weight has to do with it ..

5mile runs I was like 160
Now I’m like 185-190

Stamina is easy to get back. At the end of the summer, I did a 3.6 mile run outside nonstop for the first time in years. Before then, I was doing intermittent runs.

One day after work, I just said fuk it.....and finished the whole course.

Optimum Nutrition's Double Rich Chocolate Whey is DISGUSTING. 2/10. Wasted $100 bucks on that trash. On positive side gyms have reopened but you have to "book" slots. Hoping to restart again from the 20th.

Protein powders are tricky as hell now. I feel like they make them more to cook within than drink now.

The first protein powder I ever bought was Optimum's Chocolate Peanut Butter. Its God Tier and absolutely amazing. It's just that when shutdown was being put in place I made a panic buy as my seller had run out of it. For me it's the convenience of those protein macros. Make mine with oats + milk + creatine + banana. I never tried cooking em though

Yeah I don’t have a problem with them. Like you say it’s a pretty cheap method to get them macros. People have turned it into a whole way of cooking. Protein everything.

Just finished leg day, and I say im shocked at how non-pathetic my performance is :ohhh:
Had 2 months of absolutely no activity, was sick (most likely corona) which put me on my ass for weeks.
My stamina is slowly coming back (thanks to getting back to jumping rope as my warmup again, first day was only couple rounds of a minute each "set", second day was 1:30, now im back at 2 minutes. Might sound laughable but im kinda hyped of that). The weights I moved were also not that bad, of course not 100% like before but not terrible either.

:ehh:
