6:53 am PST. Another 9/10 upper day. Good form on the BO Row and no back issues.

Been either in the gym or gone for a run every M-F except last week Monday when my back had pain and I needed a rest.

I’m definitely gonna finish May in the same way I finished March, on a very strong note.

We move.

Gonna start running again. Get my cardiovascular back on point

Don’t limit yourself to just running (unless you enjoy it). Swimming, boxing, cycling, basketball, soccer :blessed: are all great for cardio.

I was starting to be disappointed that I am still topping out at sets of 6 pull-ups but then I realized I am able to do more of them in total and it took several months for me to even get one. I love that my mental health these days just tramples over my old pessimism . Inner critic doesn't stand a chance anymore. Can't believe it took me this long to commit :wow:

Once you lock into the fitness, health and well ness you’ll really ask yourself what took so long.

The mental clarity and lift to your mood can’t be underestimated.

I speak for myself when I say this but there are only a few things better than a good workout/training sessions. You get this natural high that makes you feel like you can do anything. I had a good leg day yesterday and today I'm anxious cause I want to hit legs again:russ::russ::russ:

The extra cals were the answer. Legs felt good after warm up sets and the bar moved well. Body didn't feel as beat up after. I might get that 600 in June :blessed: :blessed: :blessed:
I’m sketching out the schedule now but going to start my deadlift program again Sunday. Hoping to get to 525 from the 500 earlier this spring

However, today was the day of reckoning and moment of truth…I was back to DLs after my back injury from a few weeks ago.

How would my back hold up was the question on the minds of the 5am gym crew

We all waited with bathed breath…

My back held up like reinforced concrete pressed against steel beams :ohlawd:

The reports of my demise were grossly exaggerated :wow:

375lbs 4 sets of 6 reps on the DLs like I didn’t miss a beat.

Finishing my sets getting light headed from absolutely giving it everything:whew:

Side note: When women be using that hip abductor machine :takedat:

Might call ole girl over tonight for my 2nd workout of today. Hitting legs heavy will do that to you :youngsabo:

She can’t stay the night though :whoa: I gotta be up for the 5am gym session.
