Crazy how the locker room is full of threads about women in the gym, how they dress in the gym and how to approach them et but you'll never see a thread do numbers about fitness that doesn't include IG girls

Finally found a way to up my training volume without fukking myself up too much. I do three days of strength each week (bench, squat and deadlift and some accessories) and three Crossfit workouts, most one day of rest. Sometimes strength and cf on the same day if there is not too much overlap in musclegroups.
Been doing it for two weeks now and feel great, strength is improving and the variety keeps me motivated. :blessed:

On a mission to get lean:

Had an oil change scheduled at Walmart at 4:30pm yesterday after work....which is conveniently located by a bike trail that intersects with another nearby 2.5 mile loop trail....so I put on my running gear and got a run in while the car was being serviced, and grabbed a coupla three things from the store after the run. Killed several birds with one stone. :manny:

Groin is still funny. Idk how, but the pain starts in my groin then spreads to my lower back and abs, WTF :pachaha:

It’s not a sharp pain but more of an annoyance. Let’s see what PT is saying.

For today it was Squats, leg curls, leg extensions and calf raises. No SLDL due to the lower back so I just loaded up on the reps on the other workouts.

Definitely no soccer tomorrow so I’m bringing the jump rope out again. :manny:

The first one or two times I've used Mother Bucker it hit (not Super Saiyan 2 like I thought but it hit) but it ain't been doing too much since other than being a covert thermogenic.

10:30pm PST. Just wrapped up 45mins of jump rope. Had a 7am meeting so really couldn’t get to gym like I’d like so I moved my free day up to Monday.

I’ll be doing a lot more jump rope until my groin heals and I’m back to soccer/running.

Naija Independence day weekend was last weekend so I was out quite a bit. Really should be no hurrahs until the Christmas period. Liq is really my only stumbling block.

Even still, looking like I’ll have cut about 4lbs this month. Not the best, but not too bad

Anyway, we move. Q4 starts Wednesday, time to bring in the year.

Finished my upper body today by 8:15am PST. Much later than usual because I had that late evening jump rope workout which knocked me out like a child.

Definitely a good 8.5/10 workout, but my right shoulder is still a bit funny. It’s doing a lot of the work when I bench so I have to get my left side to catch up. The bar is a bit tilted when I lift and I haven’t fixed quite yet. May return solely to DB press or seated chest press where I can do some more ISO work on my left side. Feel like this type of imbalance is an injury waiting to happen

Any Black YTs y'all following? Not the fake deep nikkas lol but seem there is a gap for "regular" dudes into fitness like we have back when Chris Jones was active.
you can say Mike Rashid.... cause just by posting style of almost everybody in this thread we probably all agree hes' grating with his smart-dumb nikka schtick........ as for YT follows I agree there is a dearth of level headed dudes. Rashid's boy Simeon Panda ain't too much better.... he isn't on the fake deep shyt, but I can't take him serious since he wants to fervently claim his natty card

... I liked Obi-"Something" .. British Crossfit dude..... though I'm not into the crossfit.....

But the main issue was the drinks. Obi’s House went on the road and I got dragged in.

Q4 starts tomorrow and I’m going back to very selective outings and cutting out the hard liq. Finish the year strong before I head to Naija in Christmas.

Come back in the new year and return to my Q1’24 level of focus but this time run it through the start of summer and I’ll be gucci.

I’ve made mad progress this year I can’t even lie…
