I had the Metcons 1-2 and didnt really care for them. I'm using Nano 9s now and they gotta be the best cross training shoe I've ever used. Metcons seem ok if you have more narrow feet.

Side not just did Squats for the 1st time in 2 years. Sucks starting from scratch but even with 225 I can feel it hitting way more muscles than leg press. I stopped doing Squats because It became a pain to get a free squat rack with the after work crowd at the new gym I started going to at the time. Now that I do early morning work outs squat racks tend to be free more often.

I can see you on the Nikes. The 1's and 2's are less like sneakers than the later ones, especially the Flyknits and Frees.

As for the squat racks opening up, if I go in the afternoon I just creep up on someone and they magically done in 5 minutes or less. :pachaha:

I've added this new thing to my muay training routine,I toss my heavy bag(100 lbs) in the air then kick it before it reaches thr ground, helps improve snap in my kicks

Gonna ease into dieting again this week, and do an official weigh in on Sat Jan 4. I got a trip to LA in a few weeks but will still be working out so I'm not too worried. Going to Colombia in May so want to hit a milestone by then so I'm not too :flabbynsick: on the beach.

Routine doing PPL x 2 cycles in a row Sun-Friday, Sat Steady State Eliptical Cardio and maybe some ab work. On my Pull days I'm also going to do HIIT post workout on my Rogue Echo Bike.

10 days in and it’s been caloric surplus and heavy low rep PPL training.

Got this pump powder called vasoblitz this shyt really works during the workout the pumps are out of this world.

I’m up to 194 fasted from 185. Probably half that is water weight but it’s fun again in the gym I don’t have that weak drained feeling while I’m dieting.

Nothing crazy push days I either do 5x5 incline bench or standing shoulder press and then 4 accessory push movements 4x12.

pull days I do 4 back workouts of my choice at 4x12 (usually two pulldown and two row workouts) and 4 x 12 curls. When I get home I do 100 seconds on the echo bike 10 seconds at 110% 10 second rest.

leg day is squat or leg press 5 sets increasing weight (if leg press I do high volume 20-18-15-12-10)

seated leg curls, single leg leg extensions, single leg leg press (all of these I do 4x12) and then finish with calf raises 2x100.
