A few months ago I started incorporating calf raises on the belt squat machine and have gotten some better gains. I think having the weight loaded at the waist w the belt rather than the shoulders like on a standard calf raise machine is better for hypertrophy.

Deads were tough today. Was only able to hit 3 out of 5 reps. On a positive note, I'm able to pull 500+ more frequently, that 600 feels so close:blessed:
