A few months ago I started incorporating calf raises on the belt squat machine and have gotten some better gains. I think having the weight loaded at the waist w the belt rather than the shoulders like on a standard calf raise machine is better for hypertrophy.

Deads were tough today. Was only able to hit 3 out of 5 reps. On a positive note, I'm able to pull 500+ more frequently, that 600 feels so close:blessed:

Not a fan of the video. He makes a claim that there is no difference then says the calorie restricted subject maintained more muscle mass than the time restricted subject. Then speculates about why :francis: :francis: :francis:
I noticed that but make the leap that he meant the person that only calorie restricted (not time and calorie restricted).

The speculation makes general sense to me.

No fried foods since May 25 (Popeye's on a Sunday morning). Vowed to go through the entire month of June......which will be easy, as i don't have the cravings for it, even when it's in my presence.

May very well go beyond the month of June. Those trans fats wreak havoc on your entire body.

Yeah. I’m usually pretty good about that but got lazy. Haven’t had them sense around the same time.

I lowkey key think high carbs and high are the worst combos for your body and that what most fried foods are.

High Carbs and High Cholesterol. Very bad combo.
